Privacy Policy
This Policy explains how CodeGuard Host LLC collects, uses, protects, retains, and shares information when you use OpenFoxy.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect account information such as your email address, account status, authentication and verification records, settings, support communications, and security events.
We may collect device and technical information needed to operate local AI and remote access, such as operating-system version, CPU, RAM, GPU, VRAM, architecture, available storage, application/node versions, runtime/model inventory, device status, diagnostics, update state, and security or integrity signals.
OpenFoxy may collect conversation content and conversation metadata when needed to provide web or mobile relay, account history, synchronization, safety, troubleshooting, or requested product features. Local AI inference may occur on your computer, but remote requests and responses can transit OpenFoxy systems when required to route the service.
2. Legal Acceptance and Evidence Records
When you accept OpenFoxy legal terms or disclosures, we may record the exact document versions and cryptographic hashes presented to you, the acceptance date and time in UTC, your account and installation/device identifiers, application/client version, operating-system information, locale, user-agent information, and your public IP address.
We may also record an approximate country, state/region, or city derived from your public IP address or trusted network/CDN headers when available. We do not request precise GPS location merely to record legal acceptance.
These records are used for contract administration, compliance, fraud and abuse prevention, security, audits, and establishing or defending legal claims. Legal acceptance records are maintained separately from contextual advertising matching data.
3. Advertising and Contextual Signals
OpenFoxy Free is advertising-supported. OpenFoxy may derive normalized contextual signals from the current interaction to select relevant advertising. For example, a question about website performance may produce signals such as hosting, CDN, or optimization.
Advertisers do not receive your raw OpenFoxy question or full chat from the OpenFoxy advertising pipeline. Advertisers may receive aggregated or campaign-level information such as matched normalized signal/category, placement, approximate geography, impression/viewability, click/call events, and spend.
OpenFoxy does not need to build a long-term behavioral advertising profile from your full conversation history in order to provide contextual advertising. Contextual eligibility may be disabled for sensitive or uncertain categories.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to create and secure accounts; authenticate users and devices; route remote AI requests; operate local-AI setup; choose compatible runtime/model configurations; provide chat history and settings; deliver and measure advertising; provide support; detect fraud, tampering, invalid traffic, and abuse; send service messages; maintain records; troubleshoot; improve reliability; and comply with law.
5. Internet and Network Information
OpenFoxy Free requires internet connectivity for installation and normal operation, including authentication, model/runtime setup, remote access, updates, advertising delivery, integrity checks, and policy state.
Network logs may include IP addresses, timestamps, request metadata, security events, and service-performance information.
6. Service Providers and Disclosures
We may use service providers for infrastructure, hosting, email delivery, authentication, security, analytics, payment processing for paid services, content delivery, and other operational functions. Providers may process information on our behalf subject to their contractual and legal obligations.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce agreements, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or complete a corporate transaction subject to applicable law.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the service, maintaining account history, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and protection against fraud or abuse.
Legal acceptance and evidentiary records may be retained after ordinary account closure where reasonably necessary to establish the agreement presented and accepted, comply with law, or establish or defend legal claims.
8. Security
OpenFoxy uses technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including authentication, access controls, cryptographic hashing or signing where appropriate, protected device credentials, and integrity checks. No system can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain certain personal information, or to appeal a privacy decision. Some information may be retained where permitted or required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or legal claims.
Privacy requests may be sent to support@openfoxy.com.
10. Changes to This Policy
We maintain versioned Privacy Policy documents. Material changes may be presented for renewed acknowledgment or acceptance where appropriate or legally required. Other updates may be communicated through OpenFoxy, email, or the website.
